VitalFluid B.V., based in Eindhoven, develops technologies that use Plasma Activated Water (PAW) as a sustainable alternative to chemical crop protection products and fertilizers. By mimicking the natural process of lightning, the company creates "lightning in a box," enabling growers to produce PAW on-site using only water, air, and electricity. This innovative approach allows farmers to protect and nourish their crops without harmful chemicals, contributing to more sustainable food production.

De functie

As Manager Electrical Engineer at VitalFluid, you will be responsible for leading a team of hardware and software engineers. You oversee the entire product development process and ensure well-considered technical solutions. You will collaborate with various departments to define project requirements and ensure optimal integration of hardware and software. Additionally, you will implement best practices in Agile development, CI/CD, and project management. Beyond developing new technologies, you will also support the implementation and maintenance of systems in the field. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and coaching a team of around eight engineers.
• Creating and monitoring project plans, budgets, and resources.
• Ensuring product quality and compliance with technical specifications.
• Driving innovation and staying up to date with the latest technological developments.

De kandidaat

We are looking for a driven and experienced manager with a strong technical background. You have:

• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in hardware and software development.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a technical team.
• Knowledge of hardware design, embedded systems, and software development.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and project management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate teams.
• The flexibility to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
